OSHA Compliance 

This HAZWOPER 24 course is designed to meet OSHA HAZWOPER requirements 29 CFR 1910.120 paragraphs [e] for hazardous waste sites. It includes 24 hours of online classroom instruction. Pursuant to OSHA CFR 1910.120(e), Occasional Site Workers are required to undergo 24 hours of offsite training if they work on a contaminated site and are NOT exposed to hazardous materials at or above Permissible Exposure Levels. Also, these workers must receive one day of actual field experience under a trained and experienced supervisor. This is the responsibility of the employer.  

The course covers the contents of a safety and health plan which is necessary for site assessment and remedial operations. It instructs participants on recognizing potential safety, health, and other risks at hazardous waste restoration sites. It also trains them to utilize work techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively.

Course Duration

The course is comprehensive and is rated for 24 hours of study time. It consists of 25 modules plus a final exam. You will be able to login and logout on your own schedule. The HAZWOPER 24 course will begin where you left off for a new study session.

OSHA HAZWOPER Certificate 

Upon successful completion of the course (finishing each module and final exam), a certificate (8X10) is immediately available for download. A copy of your certificate will always reside in our database should you need another copy in the future.
